Lake Mburo National Park provides the visitors an opportunity to embark on both Day and Night game drives in the savannah grasslands for better chances to spot a variety of wildlife species. Common sightings include zebras, impalas, buffaloes, topis, elands, warthogs, and waterbucks and of late Leopards mostly seen at night alongside hyenas and pangolins.
Guided by UWA rangers one can mountain bike with in the park hence accessing the best viewing game spots in the park but incase you prefer a softer terrain you can mountain bike outside the park in the communities with a magnificent view of the wildlife too.
We arrange walking safaris inside and outside the park with a well experienced guide by your side. The safari can be organized according to your fitness. The walks are usually between 1-3 hours, you also get to rub shoulders with the local culture in the area which is occupied by the Bahima people.
One cannot leave lake Mburo National park without tasting the waters, the boat cruise is a very rewarding experience in the park as you get to see most animals as they come to taste the lake, view those enjoying selves in the water and living by the water like the crocodiles, hippos and the various bird species.
